I keep forgetting to fire up Teamspeak, but all I've been playing this holiday (last week and a bit) is Torchlight II. Kinda like Diablo 3 but shinier/more cartoony. And a couple other things nabbed during the Steam Summer Sales... *cries*

Played quite a bit of torchlight 2 but gotta say I prefer Diablo 3

Been playing torchlight 2 too.

Because I payed for phoenix though, I did jump in recently and fire up all my shiney new mechs.  Still unimpressed with lack of trackir support, and also unimpressed with the torso twist and arm movement of the battlemaster.

looks like they bringing back 2-12 group drops soon ie not just 4 or 12. 14 months too late :-(

That would definitely be more fun for us, particularly with those extended groups of non-DI people we like to include. I'll be back in early March, though I have no idea if I'll have somewhere to set my computer up =O

Any word on this? if we can get some team drop I might start playing again..

been playing a little bit, I still cant use my Atlai effectively, hit boxes are too big and i still cant put enough armour on it..

Latest news, after promising to allow 2-11 player groups, it's now back to 4 or 12. Something about launch module and private matches & premium private matches blah blah blah.

Still, MechWarrior death match is ok in small doses. Never see anyone around though, apart from Garby.

I was really hanging out for groups of 5+ :'(

In yesterdays patch they have added post AA which might hurt your frame rate a bit - you can turn it off in graphics options.

Oh - they added achievements, I unlocked a heap in 30 minutes and none since ha.

They also polished ma lrm knob. It heap good know!

yeah well at least you proved the power of Narc. Just need someone to follow up with the lurms. Would be crazy scary with another couple of missle mechs, but having 40 in the air in one group means no amount of AMS is going to save you.

I got an email saying my account would be deleted if I didn't do something, so this is me - doing something!

I still can't get back in. I got from Malaysia 6 weeks ago, but was staying with my folks while apartment-hunting, so I had nowhere to setup my computer. I moved into my new place a week ago, but I'm still waiting on TPG/Telstra to finish setting up my.broadband. Finally, I have a new job and am about to leave for five weeks training in India! So it seems unlikely I'll get to play with you guys for another six weeks or so =O

I'm a developer at ThoughtWorks, which is spectacular =D My new place is in Carlton, which is also spectacular. I'll try not to get too touchy-feely, but to be honest the support and advice I got from you guys was a big part of getting through last years rough patch. I hope I can get involved again when I get back from Pune!
