Title: Can't get MWO to install Post by: Ice_Munney on 26/10/2012, 12:54 PM I have my Beta testing activated now for about a month.
I download the link to load the game (have done this multi times) and I start the setup. It starts the load sequence with the load bar appearing then it stops and saids there issues please fox those and try again. I have looked at what I think is the error log file and can't make head more tails of it. Does anybody have any sensible ideas in what I can do to fix the issue or gas anybody had this problem. I will try and post the error log to night. Title: Re: Can't get MWO to install Post by: Fisty on 26/10/2012, 02:11 PM Hey Ice.. that sounds shitty.
Will be happy to lend a hand tonight if you like. Title: Re: Can't get MWO to install Post by: BiigMacK on 26/10/2012, 02:20 PM Sorry mate hope you get this fixed soon. Hopefully one of the clan computer nerds (I say this lovingly) can give you a hand.

Hopefully one of the clan computer nerds (I say this lovingly) can give you a hand. Mate, that's a lot of lovin' yer gonna be sayin' if you say it to ALL the resident clan CNTs (computer nerds/techs) that we currently have! *cackle* Hope you get it fixed soon Ice; I may also have the install file still that I could dropbox to you/someone if that's a help somehow...? Though from the sounds of it you've got that bit already maybe. The full game directory plus patch folder come to just under 3GB. Title: Re: Can't get MWO to install Post by: Alucard on 28/10/2012, 10:33 AM i would put it on the mech forums mate that way some of the devs there can have a look
on a side note how much space do you have left on your c drive? might have something to do with it Title: Re: Can't get MWO to install Post by: Ice_Munney on 28/10/2012, 11:47 PM Alucard,
I have lodged it with MWO. they said I had to running it using FULL admin privilages, which I have been doing. Awaiting the next reply from MWO. My C Drive has 25 G's free but I'm loading it on E which has 700 G's free. I can see this is going to be painful process. Title: Re: Can't get MWO to install Post by: Alucard on 29/10/2012, 05:19 AM i dont remember any option for where to install it. it always defaulted to my c drive ( i could of not been looking hard enough). i just checked that all you need is 2 gb for it (that is how big my folder is)
have you ran a disk check to see if there are errors on the c drive try creating a dummy user account and see if it works in there that is all i can think of for now |
