A bit about me:

I have the fortune/misfortune to be anglomanii's workmate irl; so when it's daylight I'm a scientist in the Biochem/Endocrine departments of a private pathology company based in Brisbane.

At night I devour the hearts of men.

And that last line was complete bullshit. I like music with a lot of guitars in it, or beats/rhythm. I like reading scifi/fantasy/supernatural (ie. 'vampire porn' as some people call it). Anything else you'll have to ask.

I grew up playing a bunch of adventure games from Sierra and Lucas Arts; some 'vintage' FPS games from the original Wolfenstein, DOOM series, Unreal series etc to a bit of Call of Duty, then dabbled in Company of Heroes and Dawn of War II, then got suckered into MMO's (WoW and SWTOR) where I've somehow always ended up an Officer and am currently GM (not by choice).

Why I would like to join Death Inc:

Because I feel it's the right thing to do, despite a couple of the guys saying it's fine to just lurk about and mooch TS bandwidth and be that 'strange chick in TS' or 'anglo's workmate' or 'the chick with PVP-Tourettes' (not kidding).

I'm looking to be a social member and like being able to talk nerd stuff with people who 'get it', though I'm more of the books/movies/gadgets/science/space-tech nerd than guns/tanks/historical warfare nerd.

So yeah, for what it's worth I do apologize for doing the app process all arse-backwards. And... where the hell do I display the DI tag given that I don't really play any tag-using games (yet)? The only place I can think of atm is Steam...

Er, it also just occurred to me that applying now is probably the worst time for this since I'm about to AFK for a week on hols but I've already typed up everything so fml... >.<

Which Games do you play on a regular basis?

BF3 No / Mech Warrior No / COD No / Other Games Currently World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic; am considering re-downloading/purchasing some FPS via Steam but need to check titles with Anglo/Rob since I've lost access to all my hardcopies (due to le flood 2011 and/or ex-bf's not mine).

GAAAAH!!! You've got LOOM. Zak McCraken/Day of the Tentacle; any Maniac Mansion?? And... Tie-Fighter/X-Wing until my brother deleted my saved games the bastard! I also played the whole Wing Commander series (Mark Hamil cameo, whoo!); omg. Lessee... there was also Willy Beamish, more recently Jade and gawd something else I can't remember... a damn kid on a skateboard, very cartoony... /headdesk  /sheepish-grin

Oh, and I also used to play Black Hawk Down. I used to sneak out to the hills where my (older) brother would be hiding in the bushes snipin' people and shiv the bugger.


He looks after things of value, I guess... I have none of those left... T_T

Maniac mansion is included in day of the tentacle... Just use Ed's computer and you can play the full game :)

Can't think of a kid on a skateboard game.... That milo game, fuel run perhaps?  Other thing that comes to mind is Paperboy but he was on a bike although there were kids on skateboards in the game.


I never threw em out :) I knew I might want them again one day :)


I have lost the audio casette for Loom though. My little brother liked to destroy all my tapes so I assume thats what happened to it.

Just got back from a 5-day rampage thru Melbourne; visited the 2012 Indie Games exhibit at the Federation Square museum thingy; lost an hour or so in there playing everything - mostly puzzle/platform games this year; some interesting iPad games too.

And best of all... IT WAS FREE.

At least u and mami won't feel so excluded :P the female presence in the clan is growing which not to sure if that's a good thing due to.....well......you know horny men we have in the clan :P
