a starters guide to Mechwarrior online setting up your profile..

after you have replied to the registration email go the the http://mwomercs.com website
first log in
in the top right hand side of your screen you'll see profile
click on this.
now your in your profile. click on "Edit my Profile"
this is where you can sett up all your profile details.
first select your allegiance icon, you can pick anything you like. so far MWO only has a limited set. after you have select an icon go back to "settings" (it's near the left side)
now select your time zone.
then set up your "comments and visitors" settings, choose what ever you prefer.
now to your "friends" settings, i would encourage everyone to tick "Show my friends in my profile"  but don't tick "Allow me to approve members before they're added as a friend" as that might dissuade people from joining us.

ok almost done

next, you have "Profile Information" this ones totally up to and there is no reason to even fill it out.
then you have "contact methods"
i have chosen to just put in the http://www.deathinc.com.au site.. this again is up to you.

 last bit.
select your gender, i know this might be hard and for some of you, and selecting a species may be difficult (sorry Norton)
set your location i suggest as a minimum state if your country as this lets potential members see where we are from, i have also included my DI tags so as to identify my self better and to give the clan more presence.
lastly you have "interests"
you can put in anything you want here. but i have chosen a modified version of the recruitment thread, feel free to copy and paste and alter to your needs.
