Title: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Hayden03756 on 11/12/2011, 07:33 PM Hey there guys I have been having issues lately in teamspeak for some reason when I am in a a chat with about 7 or more people I start disconnecting from the chat. I have tried everything I can think of. I made sure I had no Trojans or anything like that on my PC,made sure my anti-virus wasn't the thing causing it to lag out, changed all my firewalls and many other things that haven't helped. If you have any idea what the problem could be or have ideas on how to fix it could you please let me know.
Thanks Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Paradox on 12/12/2011, 10:39 AM Maybe you're getting massive packet loss. I wouldn't honestly know but there's someone here who can surely help.
Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Yunique on 12/12/2011, 10:43 AM Is your modem seperate from your router? if so try to connect directly to the modem/router.
Also, try disabling your firewall. other stuff: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=faq&c...s3server_ports http://portforward.com/ Title: Re: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Psych0Kyller on 12/12/2011, 12:00 PM maybe try setting teamspeak to high priority in task manager not to sure wat else tbh
Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Syklone on 12/12/2011, 12:06 PM You could try to change the quality of the in / out of voice to use a lower quality thus less bandwidth - will this help ?

Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Hayden03756 on 14/12/2011, 11:15 AM I tried doing most of those. I just have to find out what model my modem is then i will do the port forwarding stuff
Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: DonutKing on 14/12/2011, 11:18 AM The port forwarding stuff is only if you are running a server, not necessary for simply connecting

Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Yunique on 14/12/2011, 11:43 AM Try using a different version of TeamSpeak? (http://"http://ftp.4players.de/pub/hosted/ts3/releases/beta-36/")
Title: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Hayden03756 on 17/12/2011, 12:45 PM version
Try using a different version of TeamSpeak? (http://"http://ftp.4players.de/pub/hosted/ts3/releases/beta-36/") that link isnt working for me but if you could fix it that would be good as i want to see downloading another version will help. ThanksTitle: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Hayden03756 on 17/12/2011, 12:46 PM The port forwarding stuff is only if you are running a server, not necessary for simply connecting oh ok thanks for that couldn't find the model of my modem on the website anyway. ThanksTitle: Re: Having teamspeak issues Post by: Jthn on 19/12/2011, 12:12 PM It could just be that his connection is shit and can't handle the bandwidth that a Teamspeak channel with multiple users uses. I used to have similar issues when living in the student apartments at university, I would get DC'ed from ventrilo if too many people were talking at once because our connections were shithouse, especially at peak times.
