Title: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: Robbojlr on 09/12/2011, 02:57 PM My norton has ran out after 3years and my free avg trial runs out in 2 days.
Just wondering if I should stick with Norton 360 (buy it again) or buy another one (like AVG) Title: Re: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: Scuppers on 09/12/2011, 05:11 PM Just my advice, (not experienced at all in any fields of computers) Just use Microsoft Security essentials if you need a anti virus program and ad blocker, and you can't go wrong I mean I've done the lot and not got a virus or along the lines. I don't want to go to specifics on fear of looking/sound like a perv but you get the picture.

I use AVG and a lot of guys here do, it is very good, free and works a treat. EDIT: hahaha told you! Title: Re: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: DonutKing on 09/12/2011, 05:19 PM yeah microsoft security essentials works pretty well for the price (free)
it's not the best one but its better than norton Title: Re: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: Syklone on 09/12/2011, 07:13 PM Same. I use MSE as well and if in doubt I update malware bytes an run that an may use trend (only cause its free for Me to VPN to an old site I know and DL n run it)

Title: Re: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: bageled on 23/02/2012, 06:46 AM I've used Kaspersky and CA, both turned out to be a crap for different reasons, now I've swapped to MSE, so far so good.
Title: Re: Best Anti-Virus? Post by: Budh on 23/02/2012, 07:07 AM Avast and Malwarebytes work for me but up to you in preference.
