Title: CPU Temp and New Portable Harddrive
Post by: Robbojlr on 09/12/2011, 02:53 PM
Two Questions

1. Is it bad if my CPU temp is reaching 90+ degrees while playing games. (Possible reasons/solutions)
    - Related Crash may be 'Display drivers have stopped working and has Recovered'

2. Whats a good and reliable brand to buy as far as portable harddrives go. (Have had problems with Western Digital)

I've got a nice Antec case that I can put 3.5" hdd in w/ usb & eSata out put. Good for lotsa storage

Also have 640GB USB2 Samsung 2.5".  Love this 'cause doesn't need another power source.  Great for WDTV and TV.

Both good

I wouldnt know about the temperature part, but in terms of external hard-drives I believe two very good brands are Western Digital (WD) and Seagate. I have a 500gb Seagate external hard-drive and its been great for me

That is the second most cogent thing I'll ever say, on these forums or otherwise.
