Death Inc

Hi,

As some of you know I have recently bought a new computer. This new computer came in parts as I thought at the time it would be a great learning experience to build it myself...(Regret that decision)

The package arrived and I have eagerly attempted to put this beast together.

I have followed instructions and looked online etc/etc

However,

Its not as easily as I thought it would be and I am kinda finding myself in the deep end...

Rather than continue along by myself and risking breaking parts (If they are not already fucked...pretty sure they aren't but who knows).

Is there anyone in Brisbane who has experience with this stuff able to come and help me for the day/ however long it takes? I will provide petrol money/food/beer/goats/pretty much anything...

OR recommend a good local computer repair shop that I can take it in to get it put together? I'm not made of money so can't afford some dickhead to charge me $100p/h and then work for the day...

Any help would be much appreciated.

Offence taken, this is my specicality this is what i do for a crust and yes I normally charge $132.00 per hour, but thats cause I know what I'm doin...

Damit is good -if I lived in Brissy I would just tell you to pack it up and bring it to my office, but alas, nowdays your would need to travel 550km's to Gladstoen to get me to look at it.

Damit is a great, wonderful person who has a good feel for IT (and testicles) as he has helped me before and even though we were unsuccessful, it was a great day to problem find and narrow down the issue.

it was installing windows when i left so i hope all is good

he actually did pretty good he got the CPU on with the heat sync with no problems

Ummm slight problem- Start computer, all fans work etc but no signal to monitor or mouse or keyboard...

Does it PoST or not even do that.

PoST meaning?

The computer stars up all fans go- psu, cpu, case fans etc etc, case lights and motherboard lights come on but no signal to screen or mouse or keyboard... It was working a few hours ago however I left and when I came back home the computer was off and this problem arose.

try disconnecting everything and then turn on again
it might be in sleep mode
