Hey guys
I am getting a BSOD at random intervals and it is starting to piss me off, now i think it may be the ram but before a spend a night with it running a mem test i want you guys to have a look at it

this is the screen i am getting when the deed is occuring

I Had that error and the computer repair guy said i had a virus which messes up your ram

it might be a different case for you tho

or the guy scammed me

like is says mv91xx.sys is probably the reason...

googling bsod and mv91xx.sys gives a lot of results... your disk controller/raid drivers look like they need to be updated

yeah i has a look before i will see if there are any updates for my sata controllers

have you got an ssd?
if so try updating the firmware on it.

I can confirm that updating to the latest firmware on my Vertex 3 120GB has stopped the erratic BSOD's I used to get. Although I had to boot into a linux liveCD to do it since you can't update firmware if you're booting windows off the SSD.

well i updated all the drivers last night form the intel website for the motherboard. i did look at updating firmware but i dont ahve a current backup so if the bsod occurs again i will look at doing that
