model wise and the way they move etc, looks shit. No1 was great...2 not so much, 3 looks like an expansion of 2, its graphically identical..add a couple of missions..done :( what you talking about chal ME2 was fucking way better than ME1 in my opinion, the introduction of the thermal rounds is better than it being buggy in the first and the gun overheating and it staying that way until you reset the game. Even the combat was a lot smoother and naturally graphics were better as wellTitle: Re: Mass Effect 3 (Trailer 2) Post by: DonutKing on 20/08/2011, 10:04 AM In this video the animations look really fucking stodgy for some reason. Textures and models otherwise look the same.
doesn't really make me excited at all. I liked in ME1 that you could go to and explore all these planets all over the galaxy. Unfortunately most of them were just barren rocks and the sidequests you did were usually pretty simple and boring, and they all used the same 'cookie cutter' type buildings. If they'd fleshed that out a bit more and made each planet with unique flora and fauna that would have been awesome. I don't like how they took that away in ME2. Scanning for resources was pretty boring. Apparently they are getting rid of this altogether in ME3. Agreed that the lack of ammo in ME1 was kinda silly. That was a good move for ME2. Overall though I don't like how much they streamlined ME2 compared to the first, like the skill system is kinda crap compared to the XP system in the first. And how much they reduced the number of weapons/armour you can find. Sounds like ME3 is going further down this path. Apparently ME3 is going to have multiplayer, no fucking idea why, I don't see how this would work. Overall I find the cover shooter gameplay pretty boring. I just really like the setting, and the concept of going around the galaxy exploring all these different planets. I've been playing ME2 on and off for a while now but I'm yet to finish it- I kinda get bored and put it down for a while. Also the other fucking thing that shits me about mass effect is how much DLC they released; its like they give you half the game then expect you to pay double again for the whole thing. I'm glad I pirated it . Title: Re: Mass Effect 3 (Trailer 2) Post by: Ametros on 20/08/2011, 10:23 AM I enjoyed Mass Effect 1, my biggest gripe being the retarded inventory system and taking forever to empty it out...
Meanwhile in Mass Effect 2 (which I have yet to finish), I enjoy it being more challenging (I find - maybe I was just using a broken build on ME1). Mass Effect 3 - probably give it a pass for some time. From Bioware, I really loved NWN and KotOR, and I'm really looking forward to TOR. Dragon Age 1 was alright, but my biggest gripe was how combat in KotOR looked so much better than Dragon Age... (http://i.imgur.com/1QSf2.png) That is supposed to be a robot. Why the fuck does it have a massive camel toe. Character Customization Pussy Fat [-----------------|] welp this looks like another stinker to give a wide berth The only possible saving grace is if it can be detached and washed in the sink Title: Re: Mass Effect 3 (Trailer 2) Post by: mandatory05 on 13/03/2012, 03:40 PM Within the context of story it makes sense. Its a robot that was undercover as a human. Dont wanna spoil it for anyone.
