There was nothing in the original about adoption and I guess if your young child knew she was adopted and didn't quite understand the concept then hearing this in the game might be a bit of a shock.
The game isn't exactly marketed at kids though, perhaps the 'everyone' rating is not the most appropriate. I can only surmise that this guy thinks its purely a kids game and this is where the issue lies. Otherwise I really don't see why portal 2 should be hung out to dry while Drawn Together makes fun of people with disabilities (not to mention all the blatant racism and sexism and all the other plain offensive shit) with reckless abandon. |
