Hi All,

Starting up the donations again for this year to cover the running expenses, as per last year we used to have people, mainly Damit who paid for everything and I think its only fair that we chip in and collectively pay for these things that we ALL use

Last year really blew my mind at how quick everyone helped out and from the size of some of the donations and with their generosity :thumbup:

So if you have any spare cash, any amount at all...even $5 once every couple of months...please donate and that way Death Inc as a clan can pay for itself, and individual members dont have to fork out while we ALL use it.





How the donations will be used -

* Paying off TS for a year
* Paying off our website hosting for a year
* Paying off our servers - We'll look at getting a BF3 server up and running on release...so we'll get it covered for then.  

As per last year, if a game server doesn't get used we will pull it and we will use the excess expenses to pay for TS and website longer than the 12 month period or take that sum out of the next years target goal (what i've done with the excess $145 from 2010 - 2011 donations :)

Would like to see more active members & Vets contributing guys (you lads have been around the longest and are more committed than most) and if you use it, why not help us out paying for it?

12 people carrying the costs of running =]DI[= isn't fair when we have so many active users...between the above 12 people we've raised $435 and covered this years expenses for EVERYONE.

Unless of course you WONT be using the forums, using TS or playing BF3? ...then $5 a year or 0.013 cents a day isn't that bad huh? :)


As you see even $5 will help out, doesn't have to be a big donation..not at all,  but either way it IS a voluntary donation and your choice :thumbup:

but seriously though to those who didnt help as chalice has said a small donation is helpful and everyone has money nobody is a bum. Saves the rest of us forking out so much it should be spread out evenly

Yep sure have bud, we've only accounted for 6 months of BF3 server hire (just to make sure its good :) ) and if we want it up for a further 6 months , we'll ask the BF3 guys to help us out then.

Paypal take a large percentage of our donations and we are a NFP organization and need to prove that to the banks.

Might dbl check with paypal and see if they do a minimal fee option for NFP's

$570 ahead in 2 days...fuck I love Death Inc and its members and no Reggie and Syk that wasn't enough to get me in bed..add some zero's baby, but you were close.

my concern was (and why I asked a few times if the money went through) was when I did it I first crunched it as 15000 and missed the decimal point, I canceled the transaction, IE spazzed out, I got a reference number and redid it at $150.00 but wanted to make sure you didnt heart attack if $15k went in as it would of been a PITA to get it back.

The length and girth of my e-peen is legendary so no probs with data transfer or bandwidth but can't run a server on Optus cable, it's against acceptable use or T&C or something :)

How the heck would they know ?

They scan active ports or some such beyond my understanding.

Surely the traffic pattern would be a dead giveaway.
