we have a league in nz for this game roughly 3 weeks after release.

as per norm with the bf releases.

so we are dead keen to practice up as much as we can from demo release onwards... much like we did with DI and Imperium for 2142 ;)

P.S. we have pretty much stolen your belgrade strat, after trying to make one 4 times in a row, it was easier to steal yours :)  as so far yours is the best strat we have seen.

gotta love your walker positions, completely takes the stupid C4 jeeps out of the equation.

All good. I think DI too will be waiting for the demo... no one is really in QW mood atm, hopefully the demo will bring some spirit back.

Well, most people know me as a very modest and selfless person but uncharacteristicly I am going to say that the Belgrade strat was all my idea and I take full credit for its success. Thanks.

yeah it was a very nice strat

we been struggling with how to counter them stupid C4 jeeps.

played with lots of ideas, ranging from theft to EMP mines.

never thought of just hiding our walker in areas where the jeeps cant drive :)

At the moment Freak-tm ETQW has lost a LOT of interest from us.

The BETA's really deterred many of our players.

Realistically we could get 4-5 tops.
When the final comes out things might change, but at this stage it dosent look promising for DI.

Fixed. Sorry Freak, Damit's writing is quite often off, but with a simple change of a word I have fixed it. No need to thank me, Damit. All in a days work.

(The basis of our strat is actually quite common and almost none of it I came up with personally. Dex and I simply mixed bits of common knowledge together and came up with something that worked reasonably well. Tbh, I have no right to take credit for its success and all the credit should go to the boys that played in that match as they did play superbly well and should be recognised for it. But this isn't important, read the above couple paragraphs instead.)

we found beta1 sucked, but beta2 was a big improvment.

we keen as on some practice partners.  as our national tourney for prizes starts 3 weeks after release ... mid-late october !!!

Ill do a "round up" of the lads after the demo is out to see how many lads we have.
As said above, the demo didnt really "attract" our players.

I still rekon we'll have 6 keen players to take on a tourney though.

4 days later and it seems interest has faded. I don't think we'll be able to make the numbers unfortunately, freak.
