Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Syklone on 22/02/2011, 08:09 AM OK I give up trying - I have wasted enough water to delete the dams around Brisbane I think.

seriously though, can someone explain how the laws of physics allow that to happen. my guess is that somehow the guy used hacks to turn the water into a jelly like substance. still cannot possibly contemplate how such a thing could happen. Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Slash on 22/02/2011, 04:32 PM Obvious troll is obvious.
Some of you might remember the video that Mercedes did of the SLS doing a barrel roll in a tunnel. Everyone called bullshit because they think big companies are some how more able to use CGI than normal folk. Point is, this guy nailed it by not looking as adept with computers as he really is. Here's a simple 4 step guide to success. 1) Come up with a trick that's impossible to pull off but simple to produce with CGI and some video editing to put on youtube. 2) Produce hax CGI with your super skills. OR come up with a way to produce the trick using other unexplained methods. 3) Add some shitty titles with generic fonts and backgrounds, because this will make you seem more legit. 4) Laugh as you think of all the idiots spilling water all over their mum's kitchen. Like those people who made the "put a hole in a tennis ball and push it on your lock to open your car" video. It was some dill standing in the background with a REMOTE opening it. Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Syklone on 22/02/2011, 05:50 PM So. ..... This is not real?
Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Damit on 22/02/2011, 06:07 PM Obvious troll is obvious. the tennis ball one work on the 180 as it doesn't have locksSome of you might remember the video that Mercedes did of the SLS doing a barrel roll in a tunnel. Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Syklone on 22/02/2011, 06:42 PM ok you guys just fucking with me now ? I have tried the tennis ball on my HRV and the water cone and cant get both to work. What gives ?
Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Alucard on 22/02/2011, 11:42 PM this would def not work for water does not hold together like this
i can see in the clip though that the water seems to be spinning - rippling if you will - if this was true i don't think the water would hold the shape and if it did it will only last about a millisecond before collapsing thus haxxxxx Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: bageled on 23/02/2011, 10:20 AM ice and careful cutting? Though how to freeze that much water without bubbles, probably CGI. CGI has taken all the magic out of special effects. :(
Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Syklone on 23/02/2011, 11:54 AM You guys all killed my dream of doign this as a party trick at friends houses :(
I will still be the n00b with a KD of 3/185 :( Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: Z00111111 on 23/02/2011, 02:44 PM Slightly frozen water? Then you'd have a thin layer of ice to hold it all together, with liquid water inside to move? Then it would eventually crack open and explode water everywhere like in the clip?
Title: Re: Practice Makes Perfect Post by: naf on 23/02/2011, 03:43 PM cgi...
