I personally prefer realistc flying where I "feel" the G's etc. not this arcade crap :(

Sometimes arcadey flight is better than what I've been known to do in the past, and that is fly for an hour in a flight sim just to find the enemy. Not to dear either I think last time I did it was about $100 or so for a few flights in the day. You can feel like you are flying then, do a winch or tow launch. You can even learn to fly and get your gliding certificate(not in one day).
